Care & Cleaning Guide
How to Keep Your Sofa Looking New for Years
Regular Care
-
To keep the fabric free from dust, lint, and loose threads, vacuum your sofa regularly using a flat nozzle attachment. This helps revive the fabric’s texture and, for corduroy materials, maintains their soft and plush feel.
-
After everyday use, gently reshape and fluff the cushions and back pillows. If they flatten in your favorite sitting spot, give them a light shake or pat — this helps the silicone filling regain its volume and elasticity.
-
To ensure the fabric wears evenly over time, rotate and switch your cushions periodically. You can exchange the top and bottom layers or turn them 180°, especially if the sofa sits in a sunny area. Even the most durable fabrics will fade slightly, so rotation helps the color fade more evenly and extends the fabric’s life.
Washing & Cleaning Instructions
-
All cushion and mattress covers are removable and zippered. Before washing, make sure the zippers are closed and the covers are turned inside out.
-
Machine-wash at a maximum of 30 °C using a gentle cycle.
-
Do not tumble dry, iron, or use bleach or strong detergents.
-
For the metal frame or other solid parts, a soft damp cloth is all you need — no special cleaning agents required.
In Case of Spills or Stains
-
When something spills, act quickly before the liquid soaks through the foam. Use a dry cloth or paper towel to absorb as much as possible. Avoid rubbing; just blot gently.
-
Mix a small amount of clear soap (like mild dish soap) with lukewarm water. Lightly dampen the stained area with the mixture, then blot again with a clean dry cloth. Repeat if needed.
-
Let the area dry completely before using the sofa again, especially if any moisture reached the inner filling.
-
For stubborn stains or large spills, remove the affected cover and machine-wash it following the instructions above.
